Dialup users! Is it just me?

Is it just me or is everything excrutiatingly slow? Not just Lit, but other sites. My dad today waited 10 minutes for a page to load to try to find the nearest Kmart. Slashdot is slow. My other usual pages are slow. I also decided to get the Yahoo messenger to play around with. I got LESS that .1 kb/sec. Going in through Yahoo's webmail is painful. Eudora often gets timeouts when connecting to my own ISPs webmail (When Eudora doesn't get anything for 45s it asks you if it keeps trying. Does this for my isp and Yahoo pop mail). It all started during december. Could this be due to the influx of net shoppers due to a fear of going out into public places? Or could this be my isp being stupid?

Modem users, I wanna hear from you, has your speed been consistant during this month or has it just plummeted?

I'm...trapped....in....hell... and.... I... Can't....even....tell.... people...about...it....too...terribly....quickly.

Oh... Aim works well tho' Weird.

My dial up speed has been pretty much the same as it's always been. Only thing I've had a problem with lately has been Lit, but that's been bugs in the system.

That has pretty much been the same for me as well. This afternoon things were running very slow for me on Lit.

My dialup from new Zealand is good (48kps) constantly..but Lit has been buggy the last few days/nights...I think Owen got off the tread-wheel for a while...so the server slowed down...lol

Mine has been fine so far. (I just got switched from cable to dial-up because they don't service the area we moved to)

Try axing the graphics here, like av's, and on other sites, if it looks like it is getting stuck at any point, hit stop, and refresh.

Yes it is slower esp with AOL and esp at here at the BB with all the Avs and even with it off the ones thay put in the signature lines take forever to load.

My dialup connection is the same as it's always been. It's not terribly fast but it does get the job done. I've had no problems on retail sites or auction sites like eBay. The only problem I have been having is connecting remotely to school for email messages with pictures. That's not a problem on my end though, the server is going to go down any day now.
