Did you know that today is Barbie Doll Day? The first Barbie was put on sale on September 6, 1959. Creator Ruth Handler watched her daughter Barbara play with paper dolls, and noticed that she often enjoyed giving them adult roles. Ruth using a German doll called Bild Lilli as her inspiration for Barbie.

I still have mine...she's an antique
I never had one. I was almost 12 years old when they came out and I was moving away from dolls into music by then. I can't remember any of my friends getting them either.

Oh the things we did to those Barbies. We pierced their ears and my sister pierced her Barbie's nipples. LOL

I never had a Barbie doll either...
I did, however, have a G.I. Joe. But I seldom played with it after that first "Christmas Morning rush." Somehow that kind of toy was not my thing.

Oh, I have a "Thing" BABAY...
(Actually it was science, my most used toy was a microscope. I looked at everything under that...yes, yes, I know, there's a good joke at my expense in that. 
).I like action. My favorite toy, though, was often a stick. It could be a gun, or a sword, or...whatever. I guess my favorite toy was my brain. Until I hit puberty...then it was something a little lower...

Yeah, I think, though, I would have been jealous of Joe. Barbie has a nice ass, you know...and pretty decent tits. Of course, she lacks in the pussy department, but Joe doesn't have anything either. Frankly, I think it would have been pretty boring given the lack of equipment.
I think JOE's lack of actual equipment is why he had so many acessories.
yeah, but Lit is more fun that facebook. Lit is Facebook for Perverts. And more importantly, far less political this time of year.

Facebook was fine until a couple of months ago. Now most people just 'share' those lame inspirational posters. Some are funny, but when you get 30 or 40 in a row it gets monotonous. One 'friend' found a site called 'I want that', so every outfit she likes, she shares. I'd rather read about what's going on that see that stuff.
I am a member of two groups that are interesting. In one group we post pictures of people and places in and around St. Louis and everyone has to identify them. They tease me about having pictures of all the old white men. The other one is new, only about 2 weeks old and is a closed group called 'the living room'. It's just a nice place to hang out, post jokes, music and stuff; sort of like LIT.

I don't miss most gluten, but have you ever tried gluten free bread? It's abysmal.

Never tried it and have no plans to do so. I love bread! I agree that somethings are so bad, I'd rather do without eating it. Turkey bacon is one. Bacon is pig. Nothing else will do. I haven't had bacon in a very long time.

Turkey bacon isn't that great, and is still processed.
What I'd like DGO is a big slice of home made bread, still warm, just slathered in butter. YUM.
I'll go down and have some gluten free oatmeal instead and a fruit smoothie for later. Nothing but fun foods for me
