Well I am under a winter storm warning until 6am tomorrow.

Hope you are not under the same thing. Keep yourself warm and safe.

It is already nasty here. The plowing service has already started. I think they are going to be back several times before it is over.

Life and teaching was so much simpler back in the day. I had five little girls in the 2nd grade. Three I'd taught in kindergarten. One I'd taught her brother in kindergarten. The bell rang and they continued to jump rope. It surprised the teacher on duty, but she decided to let me deal with it. I took the little girls into the coat room and spanked them. Kellye is now married to a guy in the air force, has lived in several countries, has her MBA and two children. Angela is married, lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children and sells real estate. Lisa is also in Atlanta with an MBA and owns her own company. Kelly lives in St. Louis, is married with one child and works for Blue Cross. The other girl I've lost contact with.

They all told me the same story about how they knew I wouldn't spank them because I liked them which I did. But as you can see that spanking didn't hurt them.

You are so right about it not hurting them at all. It simply got their attention. And because you did that they turned in to what they did.

We're under a winter storm watch. Right now we have blowing and drifting snow with a wind chill of minus 14. A lot of the area schools are closed.

It's difinitely a day to stay inside.

You are so right about that. Gee, should I limber up my fingers? I mean this could be a big post day.

We have some schools closed, some are toughing it out.... Hope they and the busses can get the "little dears" home from school later. Oh well, not my concern.

Am I living in the Twilight Zone? I've been hunting for some repositional putty. Couldn't find what I wanted. I looked on Amazon and the shipping was twice as much as the putty. Overstock didn't have it. Okay, eBay was next. Not only did they have it, but it was the cheapest anywhere even with the shipping. I decided to check for another product I wanted. They had that too and cheaper. I ordered it yesterday! I'm not kidding with the next part - it arrived today! I had to go back to eBay to make sure I had my dates right.
