We had a lot too. One couple who lived not far from my sister was washed away when they went to move their cars. The man was found in the back yard, but the woman was washed into the Mississippi river. That was miles away. Another woman was killed when a tree fell on her. I think she was in her yard or driveway.

The same sister lost phone service, but they have a sump pump so the basement stayed dry.
