DGO's Unthread

[done_got_old]

Friday.
then I leave Monday afternoon until Thursday

You're a busy man.

[kayte]

Thank you!

I graduated from grade school in 1962 and high school in 66, so I really am a child of the 60s.

Did you know that Chubby Checkers is a take off on Fats Domino?

I've watched Have Gun Will Travel reruns late at night! Cool Hand Luke was on last week!

I recently bought a black telephone like the old ones and it has a dial, not buttons. Every time someone from the family sees it, they're taken back to my grandmother who refused to get another phone. Funny that everyone wants to use that phone instead of the new one.

I am so happy you enjoyed the link. I know I did. I do like the old shows that crop up now and then. That phone of yours must really catch the eye when someone walks in.

[kayte]

American Graffiti anyone?

Hey there {{{{{{Wally}}}}} Not one of my faves but it wasn't bad.

[kayte]

Stopping in to say HELLO

Good evening hardwater ~ How is your week going hon?

[kayte]

The weekend was GREAT.....

Now i am on the coast.

How are you doing?

Wonderful to hear about your weekend.

Ummm which coast? The left or right?

[kayte]

Yes.
I am in S.C.

That is quite a nice place.

It does. Most people think it's not a working phone and are shocked when it rings.

Good morning all. Sorry I crashed early last night.
Should be an easy day today and I will be here early this afternoon.

Did you know...

... that today is the birthday of Daffy Duck? Daffy Duck appeared in his first cartoon, "Porky's Duck Hunt," on April 17, 1937. He didn't get his name until he appeared in the 1938 short, "Daffy Duck and Egghead." In 1999, the U.S. Postal Service issued a new Daffy Duck stamp on his birthday. Happy birthday, Daffy!
