Oh my......get your supplies in and hunker down indoors if you can. It's 33 here now. We dealt with freezing rain and ice Sunday into Monday. I think it was Tuesday that we hit 63 and an hour later we were back to the 40s.

Being snowed in now isn't a problem. As long as the power remains. The power lines here are underground like they were at my old place. There we only lost power once and only because something happened to the power station.

I need to get groceries this week, but it's not critical.

My sister has above ground power lines. They lose power in the summer and winter.

We have a lot of thunderstorms and with all the trees around her a branch or two is sure to fall. It's the house my mother bought years ago so since she grew up there, she's used to it.
