Not everything is for everyone.

Unfortunately unsatisfactory teachers are often to blame for turning people off when it comes to education. That was the one thing I tried hard not to do. Even though I was strict, I attempted to make learning fun. Rarely did a day go by when my students did not find something to laugh about. There were occasions when the principal detained by students and they complained. They may not have been earning an A, but they didn't want to miss class.

Nope. I can't blame the teachers in my case. It was all very fair. He hit me, I hit him back, he stumbled and went through a window. I was only 13, so I know it wasn't my strength that done it. Only problem was, no other school would take me. The place where I come from only had the two schools. One for girls, one for boys. Both taught on strict religious principles.

I will confess I found it funny though. Please don't detain me.

Sorry, Ma'am. *head hung in shame*

Dammit, you know how much that turns me on ...

By the way, were you kneeling?

Just curious DGO ... only asked for educational reasons.

Don't you get me in trouble with DGO! It's bad enough I've got you wanting to punish me, without you trying to get others in on the game.

I warned you!

It was all over a religious thing. I should have mentioned before that the boys were taught by priests, the girls by nuns.

It boils down to me being taught Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and the whole Adam and Eve thing by the same guy and being expected to take both as said.

I questioned it.

Oh, I'd never get such a wantonly seductive creature as you into trouble.

*pulls BlueMorpho's pig-tails*

Gee, that turned me on.

I had one person talk about Darwin and then tell us about Creationism disparagingly.

*on best behavior so I don't get kicked out of school*

Just think of the wicked things I'm thinking of doing to you.

Naughty boy!

I had a few kids question me. When I taught middle school it only happened every 3 years or so. I'd go ballistic and start ranting and raving about stuff that had nothing to do with the question at hand.........then I'd start singing. Yeah, I was a bit on the weird side. When I finished, I'd sit down and ask the student if that answered their question. Usually it did, if it didn't I asked them to research the question and get back to me with an answer.

PM them to me, then. Don't talk about it here. We're gonna get busted for passing notes or something.

Oh yeah. I can just see you doing your Anna Leonowens impression as you danced around singing 'I Whistle a Happy Tune' a la 'King And I'

I save all notes for parents.

That's fine.

If you can find them, tell them I said 'Hi'.

*twangs BlueMorpho's bra strap ... erm ... accidentally*

Sorry to break it to you DGO, but just 'cause a class of kids are pointing at you and laughing doesn't mean they were paying attention.

*passes another note to BlueMorpho*

Yes they were..............I put the crap on the test.........kids were not allowed to point.

In September they were too afraid to laugh.
