Now that I'm retired, the cold weather doesn't bother me. Starting next year I might spend several weeks in a warm climate though.

I Know. but it stinks when I just shovel and the kids can't walk on the sidewalk and they run right through where the lawn is.

Nope.......

I'm still in the dining room. I can't do the living room until the piano is moved and I get a console for the television. Right now it's sitting on an end table. I have more pictures than I have wall space. I also collect little animals. I have so many that I didn't have them all out at my old place. Some people would say that I collect books, but I gave more than a dozen boxes to the book fair last year and gave most of my professional books to friends who were still teaching. I kept only ones that were important to me or the ones I hadn't read.

I haven't decided which poem I'll submit, but I do plan to submit one. Are you?
