(just slap me now....my belly is full and I had a lovely day, so I'm getting sleepy and ding-y)

I was up early (early for me lately) and put some stuff together in a crock pot. Met my friend to go to the Tempe Festival of the Arts. We strolled through the festival for a few hours. The weather was perfect-cold in shade and warm in the sun. After hours of fresh air I came home and had a couple of bowls of vegetable beef soup; it was scrumptious. Then I made some pumpkin cookies. I've washed all of my dishes.

Now everything has settled in my belly, so it's naptime. There's just something about a bowl of soup--it warms you up from the inside out.

I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

Dreading having to go to work on Monday, plus if that doesn't add injury to insult, I have a meeting at 8am sharp that I have to be in attendance for.

... that today is Bake a Biscuit Day? On the birthday of Charles Pillsbury, bake a biscuit, a cake, some cookies, or other goodies. Without him, there'd be no popping cans of crescent rolls, per-capita consumption of pigs in blankets would be negligible, and we'd live in a dimmer, sadder world, for we'd have no Doughboy.
