I need my throat to stop hurting altogether.

I swallowed a chicken bone from a chicken breast. By the time I felt it going down it was too late and it hurt like hell. I didn't eat dinner last night, take my meds or drink water; it hurt too bad. At least the constant ache has stopped.

It's not as bad as the time I burned my tongue drinking hot tea. I couldn't taste anything for days and my tongue hurt like crazy.

I couldn't forget Wolf's birthday. He's my good friend.

A lot of schools were closed today. I haven't been outside or talked to my sister to see how bad the streets are though. Hey, this is winter in the midwest. You gotta love it.

Yes this is winter in the midwest. I think we, where I am, got the better side of the coin this time. It is just very cold. Up to +9F right now. No wind, and the sun is out. Definitely sounds better than freezing rain, ice, snow all combined.
