Hello Starry.
I am home today.
Getting ready to run to the gym and then come home and start to put up the XMAS stuff.
I am leaving Sunday for Alabama for atleast 2 weeks

I am going to run to the gym and run for a while then come home. I have to mow the leaves into the grass before it snows this weekend and then I want to get the XMAS stuff up out side.

I finished with my shopping. I did more than I had originally planned. This is the first time in decades that I bought my sister and brother-in-law anything......so I know it will be a surprise. I'm making my sister choose her gift.....three wrapped packages and she has to pick one.........My niece will open a chia pet and think I'm crazy, but I also have a gift certificate at the store where she buys her art supplies.... Only my nephews and nieces got good gifts though.

I can't be as good to people as I usually am this year. But most everyone got a book & bathwash or a book & gift cert. My nephew got 360 games & I let my nice pick a hand drum from the celtic shop around the corner. This was her first year she was allowed to go online & pick her own gift. She was hyper happy about that.

In our family we ignore adult sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews! If you're grown and working you have to buy your own gifts.

I did surprise my sister a couple of years ago. She kept trying to 'borrow' one of my purses, so one day I bought her a Coach just like the one she'd been trying to 'borrow'. It wasn't Christmas or her birthday, so she was doubly surprised.

on the other hand I hate surprises cause they usually aren't good ones :p

Thats GREAT that you got something for your sister.
Out of 9 kids I stay in contact with JUSt 1 sister.

lol, I am glad for you. I'm not sure I had a fun childhood....
it was alot of dealing with the farm, my little sister was in & out of the hospital :p
