Did you know...

... that today is the birthday of Robert Frost? On the birthday of Robert Lee Frost, the great New England poet, we celebrate all poets, especially good ones.

THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Ode to whom it fits...

OLD GEEZERS "Geezers" are easy to spot: At sporting events, during the playing of the Star Spangled BANNER. Old Geezers remove their caps and stand at attention and sing without embarrassment. They know the words and believe in them. Old Geezers remember the Depression, World War II, Pearl Harbor , Guadalcanal, Normandy and Hitler. They remember the Atomic Age, the Korean War 1950-55, The Cold War, the jet age and the moon landing, the 50 plus Peacekeeping Missions from 1945 to 2005 the Jet Age and the Moon Landing, not to mention Vietnam, If you bump into an Old Geezer On the sidewalk he will apologize. If you pass an Old Geezer on the street, he will nod or tip his cap to a lady. Old Geezers trust strangers and are courtly to women. Old Geezers hold the door for the next person and always, when walking, make certain the lady is on the inside for protection. Old Geezers get embarrassed if someone curses in front of women and children and they don't like any filth on TV or in movies or in e-mails. Old Geezers have moral courage. They seldom brag unless it's about their grandchildren. It's the Old Geezers who know our great country is protected, not by politicians, but by the young men and women in the military serving their country. This country needs Old Geezers with their decent values. We need them now more than ever. Thank God for Old Geezers! Pass this on to all the Old Geezers you know.

Hey DGO she didn't like your joke...she said it wasn't funny..:D

I laughed my ass off.

That says a lot.

How are the patients?

he's still cheating...really bad and I'm tired of yelling at him and reasoning with him..he's a big boy and if he knows what will happen if he keeps it up.

They are going to school tomorrow...they are much better tonight.

My youngest one tonight after his bath came and put his arms around me and whispered in my ear...thank you for holding my hand while I puked last night.

Geeee, isn't that sweet.....:rolleyes:

yeah like I was gonna let him puke all over my clean bathroom. :rolleyes:

Now that pisses me off. When my son was sick, I always put the trash can by him just in case he couldn't make it to the bathroom.

Well the storm seems to be returning so I might have to bail out of here soon.
