problem is m_s... the rules are going to be enforced on all adult sites of this nature sooner or later. It's not just a lit thing... this is all a coalition of quite a few countries joining together to crack down on porn on the net. It's not just Lit and it's not just the USA or even the "religious right (or is that left?)...
So no matter where we go... we're going to run into the same thing. *shrugs*

You know the governments of the world have come together to destroy a little thing called illegal drugs. And yet just about every school kid in the US knows how much of what they can buy from whom and in some ways their easier to get than alcohol. All they've really done is driven it underground. Personally I don't use drugs...just never developed a taste for them...reality is whacky enough as it is...but the industry is alive and well.

With regards to porn, I would love to see a .xxx domain dedicated to the porn/sex industry so they can just leave us the hell alone. Some folks call it a freedom of speech issue...I see it as saying that you can say/do whatever you want...just please do it out of the earshot of children. This is a perfectly reasonable request IMHO and one I'd gladly follow/support. With a home of our own we would actually be more free to do what we want without the fear of bizzare laws cropping up to mediate our behavior.

Okay, that's just my opinion...everyone can feel free to dissent. I don't want to drag our lovely DD's thread down with all this talk. Maybe we should start a legitimate thread just to discuss these issues so we don't take up a lot of random space and keep saying the same thing?
