I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am really upset right now and could use a dozen hugs. I had to restore my comp back to factory settings and I lost thousands of pics of my kids *sniff* Some ppl might think I am stupid 4 being upset, but I can't get any of those pics of my kids back .

It *might* not be too late, but you'll need the help of a data recovery expert, and you shouldn't be using the computer in the meantime. The saddest part is that any average computer geek would probably have been able to help you copy off all those pictures before you did anything to the machine. If I wasn't on the other side of the country I'd be right over to give you a hand.

I have pics of my kids when they were really little on Cd's, but got a trojan and it wouldn't let me do anything, lessons are learned the hard way I guess.
