For more years than can be remembered here, Byron In Exile has raised his Nerd Flag high.

As a junior sysadmin, he was gonna out-earn those damned popular kids in school, the ones who tormented him mercilessly about his lack of social graces, his complexion and his random episodes of incontinence.

Unfortunately, research released today in a decades-spanning longitudinal study shows that, contrary to popular belief, the popular kids in school out-earn the nerds.

Success in both business and in life is, and always has been, based on personal relationships more than ability.

Lolol!

Somebody got their nose bent today!

It's actually a combination of the two.

How people perceive you is based in large part on your ability, and that's a major factor in defining your personal relationships.
