Many of you may not remember or even know who destinie21 was, but she used to be a regular here at Lit. She wrote incredible poetry and stories, and because her content and attention to detail was so amazing, she was usually forgiven for missing periods and commas. She was like a lot of writers I know who aren't so great at punctuation.

Tomorrow will mark the five year anniversary of her death. She was a complicated person, and she kept much of her life hidden from view, even from those who knew her. She died way too soon.

Maybe everyone could send her love & light, wherever she is, or light a candle, or play some music by Nina Simone, one of her favorite artists.

That's all.
Peace.

I'm sorry to say the name sounds familiar but I don't think I had the pleasure of speaking to her.

Love and Light, always. :rose:

Destinie21 passed before my time here at Lit. A quick perusal reveals poetry with vivid imagery, hope, and tenderness.

The Day Thought I was Dead

Prayers, love, candle light, and a song from Nina shall be sent.

Too many talented people who can see the world too clearly for comfort end by passing before their time. Respect.

I still miss her.

Here are some of her AVs:

Before my time here, but best wishes to both her spirit and the loved ones she left behind.

I do remember her. Funny how people disappear from our kn and we think so little of it...

Thanks for bringing her back to mind. :rose:

Before my time I'm afraid. What were the circumstances surrounding her death, or does nobody here know?

The official story is that she hanged herself. Unofficially it's still considered suspicious among many people who were part of her life.
