okay, so for the last year or so I've been searching to try and find a story I read quite some time ago on here (granted I've been reading here for about 8 or so years...) and can't seem to remember a good enough detail for search engines to pick it up and for the life of me can't remember the story name, author name or a single character's name! It's maddening and not my normal style as I usually save that sort of information so I CAN find things later... why I didn't with this one leads me to believe I read it with my OLD OLD computer...
so anyways... the one I'm looking for was in the NonConsent section and it was about a father who sold his daughter. Now I know that's a very broad scope, so thankfully I do remember a few of the more minor details and I am really hoping someone who reads this will know it! I remember in the first part of the story, the 'stranger' is let into the girls room while she is asleep and the father is forced to listen over the intercom as the stranger takes her. I remember that the story was set in a larger house that the father owned, and at one point the girl is taken out on a picnic by the stranger who made her wear (I think) a yellow sundress, and he seduces her, and she begins to realize that she's not so affronted at the fact that she's been sold and begins to have feelings for the man.
I'm REALLY hoping that someone out there has some recollection of the story as I've been aching to read it again. It was a very well written story (had several chapters/parts) and I've yet to find one that's stuck in my memory as well as that one... I just wish I could remember more!
