I need a scanner. I'd love to be able to scan my stuff so I can post it.

Most of it would probably come out looking like shit, of course; with my luck black and white large-grain 8x10's would probably not carry over into .jpeg format very well.

I'm thinking I'll sleep as late as I can tomorrow before I -have- to get up to get ready for work; that way I'll have longer into the evening to be awake.

And yay! My manager called about half an hour ago, she got someone who wants to cover half my shift for me, so I only need to work till 5! Huzzah! That's more lab-time for me!

I had to leave the overnighter after getting only two prints done. I got slammed out of nowhere with a cold, the kind that makes your throat feel like you've swallowed a roll of sandpaper and then a gallon of bleach? The kind that no matter what you take, or how much of it, your nose STILL runs? Constantly? The kind that just turns your brain off, no matter how much caffiene you drink?

I'm not happy. I'm also too tired to actually be angry. Gah.

(And my nose hurts!!! It's already all red, and it's only day 1 of this atrocity!)

Ackkk, sounds like a truly lousy day Jade. At least you got two prints down and the cold didn't shut you out of the lap entirely. I feel your pain ont he cold. I've been dealing with one myself and am grateful that the runny nosed part hasn't been as godaweful as it could be since I am in the middle of my clinicals. The sore throat thing though is killing me, it makes me want to cough constantly - which of course makes it hurt worse - and at the hospital I have to try and curb that - which also makes it hurt worse. Today it was bad enough I just said "screw it" and played hookey.

Hopefully you feel better soon and even without the lab time I am sure you'll get your project done and it will be wonderful.

Well, I kinda HAVE to have lab time, but I'll have access to it on Tuesday and Thursday this week too. So I can finish the project then.

The cold isn't kicking my ass quite so badly today. Work is one of those places that you have to be REALLY freakin' sick to be all grumpy at; I love my job.

Hopefully I'll get lots of work done on it on Tuesday.

MONDAY IS OVER! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

Only three more wake-ups and one more day at work, one final exam, and 10 8x10 sized prints to go! Then I get to go see my amazing, wonderful, fantastic SO and lock myself in an apartment for four days straight.







Well. We might come out for food. And to go clubbing. But otherwise... no jade, all gone, no posty posty!

I might be convince-able to post some anecdotes upon my return, though.. for cookies...

In fact I think ( please don't let on to miss shy or anyone else jade ) but if he picks one for you then we will rig the Poll ( shusssh don't let on ) . I think if you want to you should learn his choice. Sounds like you will respect it from the get go and there is the added providence ...........smiles
