Designing a room for sex

My wife and I have really enjoyed expanding our sex lives together. When the mood hits us we can spend a whole day having sex and edging each other.

We have a spare room, no windows, high ceiling and already has two walls with mirrors.
The walls need a coat of paint as the green just doesn't do anything for improving the mood.

We're not hard core into BDSM but we do like to tie each other up and give up/take control in turns.

So what we'd like is a dedicated room for us to play in, not a hard core dungeon or honeymoon suite with a revolving bed. Something classy, functional and downright sexy.

Any ideas or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Of course a great sound system is a must.

Trying to decide between a floor thats easy to clear like tiles but they seem cold and uninviting. Something soft would be nice but not so easy to clean.

I think a massage table would be nice. Also Google "sex swing."

A well chosen settee in leather? A design which will work for work at all angles on it and around it?

+1 on the settee. Although leather can be cold in the winter if you live in that sort of a place, so perhaps also a decent heat source, a little stove type thing? And some ambient lighting.

Restraint points. Could be a specially designed chair for that, or perhaps rings at useful points in the walls.

Can I come over when you've finished it?

Re: floor if you do go with tile think about putting in radiant floor heating to keep them nice and toasty. Also there are gel mats for kitchen floors that are pretty easy to clean

It's gotta be 'bordello red' in color. We did a re-do of our bedroom after I bought some red satin sheets and decided to paint matching wall colors and curtains as well. It worked well...............

Even if bondage isn't up your alley, consider screwing a few eye-bolts into a few ceiling joists, or at various heights in a few differt wall studs. Super inexpensive, and you'd be surprised how creative you can get with them

i am working on remolding our recreation room now. Had to raise part of the ceiling to install 3 winches. Painting the ceiling a gloss black with mirrors on part of it, the color helps to keep it dark for the mood. The walls are being painted a median grey on wood not sheetrock, not quite as bad as stone for a dungeon or as bright as a bordello. The best feature is a cargo net that is being added. The floor is wood so you can hear the heels good. The wood walls help the sound reflection.
