A story I have started has a few scenes in a 7-11 type Quickimart convenience store kind of place. I need a description for the woman behind the counter -- sexually attractive, but not necessarily the first woman you would notice -- looks that kind of creep up on you. Ideas, thoughts, help?

7-11 Counter Girl

Have you thought of using a favorite movie/TV actress to model her on? This way you have a physical discription & basic mannerisms/body language for your character.

There are lots of teen-flicks that can supply this type of character for you. Molly Ringwald from 'Pretty In Pink' comes to mind.

7-11 Description

Sometimes it just pays to get out on the street so to speak. Go over to a convenience store or grocery store or hardware store or fast food restaurant and take along a little pad of paper as if you were consulting your shopping list. Describe the people and things around you for about half and hour and then go back home.

Not only will you find your character, but you will log in other characters and locations as well for future needs.

As they say--a writer NEVER stops writing.
