here's something new for me, starting a writing type thread. Describe something commonly found.

Cat

Sliding my hand over it's skin I marveled at the feel of it. Slightly bumpy, firm yet giving, slick with the slight moisture from the air. Hefting it's solid weight I enjoyed the feel of it's rounded hardness. I knew it was the right size for what I needed even as I tried to encircle it's girth with my hand. Lowering my face I inhaled it's slightly earthy muskiness as I felt my mouth starting to water. With my free hand I picked up the sharp knife resting on the counter top and started slowly making thin slices through it's solid flesh while enjoying the sounds it made. Done I added it to my waiting meal. Oh how I was looking foreward to enjoying the dark yet sweet flavors it's meat would add. Ahhh how I enjoy fresh Cucumber in my salads.

Come on writers, I know you can make me look bad in this thread. Have fun with it.

Cat

He came to me in darkness, after I was in bed. He was invisible. I ran my hand down his long, sinuous body and he stretched luxuriously and turned over to let me stroke his lean belly. When he had had enough of that, he righted himself and reclined on my chest, rubbing his face against mine. His whiskers tickled my chin. Placing his small, warm hand over my mouth, he delicately flexed his nails into my lips. It sometimes hurt but I knew he did it to show his love. He only ever did it to me. I craned my neck so that I could kiss him between his eyes. I felt the breeze, and heard the leathery whirr of his ears as he shook his head. Silently he sprang up and was gone as suddenly as he had arrived.

I loved the feel of it in my hand. Hard and solid, its weight was a comfort to me. I heard the hiss when I twisted my hand, slowly drawing out my anticipation. Pullin gmy hand away, I slowly bring it to my lips an denjoy the cool efervescence on my tongue. I draw deeply, its crisp flavor enticing me to drink more. Sometimes breaking the rules is so worth it.
