Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s administration Thursday asked the state board regulating doctors to essentially ban transitioned-related care for transgender minors, according to a letter obtained by NBC News.

The move from the Florida Department of Health came hours after another state agency issued a 46-page report to justify banning Medicaid coverage for transgender people of any age who want puberty blockers, hormone therapies or gender-assignment surgery.

The two-pronged effort, which ensures DeSantis can act quickly and without the need for legislative approval, drew instant opposition from trans activists and medical professionals. They’ve increasingly clashed with the Republican governor as he seeks reelection and builds a national brand as a culture warrior and potential 2024 White House contender.

If an underaged child is too young to decide whether they want sex with of aged kids...because their brain has not yet fully developed...then they are to young to decide things like this. It should be banned in all 50 states. The doctor that developed the process has stopped providing services to all children.

Do you approve of parents making these decisions for their children? At what age would you think it’s ok?

I have to assume you have no children based on the absurd amount of threads you create. I’m guessing college kid using this place for research but perhaps I’m wrong.
