Georgia college students burned the books of a Latina author

(CNN) — Students at Georgia Southern University burned the books of a Cuban-American author on a grill following a lecture in which she argued with participants about white privilege and diversity.

GSU freshman Chloe Johnsen told CNN students started shouting and yelling in favor of and against the student's comment, with some yelling "Trump 2020" and others saying the author was right.

Many of those are in states that keep voting republican, who do little or nothing to help that.

You're not white and you don't get the privilege to speak on behalf of white people. White privilege exists and we benefit from it. Every white person who has been in the workforce with minorities has witnessed this. You may call it racism and not a white privilege but you're wrong.

Been in the workforce....private and government sectors.

Never witnessed any white privileges.

If they bought and paid for the books, the author still benefits and gets increased publicity.

I.Q and priviege

Taking race out of the equation, I wonder if people with a higher I.Q. have an advantage over people with a lower I.Q. Would that be a type of genetic privilege?

Bringing race into it... are some races better at jumping then other races? Or do people of all races have he same genetic potential to jump? If some races do have a genetic potential to jump higher and further than another race, is that a genetic privilege? Say for example, would they have an "unfair" advantage in basketball?

Perhaps people with higher I.Q.s should be given drugs to dull their brains so that we could all be equally stupid. And we could cut some tendons so that the jumpers would no longer have a jumping privilege.

Ask yourself: Is all human life of equal value? I think it is. Even unborn humans.

But are all humans equal? Of course not. We are all very different and that is a good thing not something to be exploited as a political issue. Maybe that is why they burned the bullshit book. As long as they paid for the book I don't have a problem with burning it.
