I think the Trumpettes would be happier to take a break from the Trump meltdown and go watch a college football game.

A thread sunken at the river bottom with the last post before yours at 6:31 PM EST. You put your two cents in at 10:23 PM EST. It's alive again and you're just playing into his devious schemes and infernal machinations. You could not have been that bored tonight to post in it with something so forgettable and unnecessary just to give him swagger points.

You do know you could've mitigated this by not posting in Rory's thread, which would've not bumped it up and subsequently, let it languish in low-obscurity to be forgotten, right?

Why should we worry? There is no way the Senate is going to get 67 votes to remove PRESIDENT TRUMP. This is going to blow up in the democrats face like a cheap condom. They will lose the house in 2020, and PRESIDENT TRUMP will be reelected.

67 votes?

You only need 51 to remove a president from office.

An impeachment is not subject to presidential veto.

Having said that, it's unlikely that the Senate can muster up 51 votes to convict, given the Republican focus on "party before country".

You should worry because Dems have 48 votes, there are 12 other senators who have indicated in one way or another that they might vote to convict and so the votes needed are only about 6.
 
The senate doesn't even have to bring it because AOC pelosi didn't go through all the steps. They will have to vote to send it to the senate, and vulnerable democrats don't want that.

They just opened an investigation less than three days ago, chum. Nowhere near close to a formal vote yet. Jeez, you "instant gratification" kids nowadays....
