No, a lot of them aren't. The leadership is and to be honest they're akin to most TV evangelicals in that the church is a business for them and their followers want to stay in their good graces.

It's alike this big pretend game where the majority of Mormons pretend to be on board with whatever their church president says. If they don't play the game they lose their Temple Recommend card (a big deal for them), they get shunned, they will lose their jobs (just cause that's how it works) and etc.

The good news is that the more recent generations of LDS are starting to move the church into the 20th century. Maybe sometime soon they might even try to get it into the 21st century.
