No Cure for Cancer was part of the Showtime standup series, and the special was directed by Ted Demme--coke fiend director extraordinaire, who died last year.

"Asshole" is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard.

I think he lost his edge, interestingly, when he quit smoking. Maybe he got his inspiration in the nicotine buzz?
