Dems Tuck Multibillion-Dollar Handout to Illegal Immigrants Into Reconciliation.

He who robs Peter to pay Paul can count on Paul's enthusiastic support come election day, that's why.

I would have cared 10 years ago. After 10 years of it being made 100% clear that the problem isn't their legal status its their race I have ZERO sympathy for their racist opponents because I know who they are.

Put Sean down as another Dem 100% on board with subsidizing illegal behavior.

I want to make it legal behavior. But we won't because we like punishing people and we hate brown people. We could solve MOST of this problem instantly if those weren't the core issues.

So you just hate the USA and see no point in it existing and want to undermine it's citizenship and the nation state proper.

I'm really glad the left is finally starting to come clean. :D

No, that's the people who don't want to improve the immigration system so it works more the way at least the rich want it to work and maybe there are better times to fight the rich than right here?

So then you agree our customs and immigration laws should be enforced then??

"Wahhh rich people exist wahhh" what's that got to do with you supporting rule of law or "After 10 years of it being made 100% clear that the problem isn't their legal status its their race I have ZERO sympathy for their racist opponents" because you can't have it both ways.... :D

MAybe if we made it EASIER to do so more or most of them would do so.

What's that got to with supporting the rule of law? About 60% of them come in legally and overstay their VISAs because its too difficult to get one consistently.

I very specifically said today is not the day to pick a fight with the rich so you're WAHHH rich shows your lack of reading comprehension or maybe just comprehension.

We know plenty about these people as a whole. They come to do work Americans will not do, at least not at those prices. I'm not enough of an expert on economics to know if raising the prices high enough to entice Americans in (especially when so much is getting automated these days) I'm not in the mood TODAY to fight the rich people. So lets let them keep their cheap labor.

We know that these people send every dime they can spare back to their home countries. We know that the price of living in ANY Latin American country is lower than the US, especially SoCal where a lot of them live.

Why not make it easier to let them come in the front door legally and get all the proper checks and then a "Front of the line" pass next year so they come for the season, go home, come back?

Because that would be too fucking simple.

Somehow between the various law enforcement agencies they can find the places these illegals are working on a fairly consistent basis but apparently they just show up to work or something and nobody fucking hires them on any level.

A few years back Donald Trump was asked if he could say that his construction companies don't have illegals on staff. To paraphrase his response "I don't handle day to day stuff." Which I 100% believe.

I also believe that there are people in managment, at least on the local levels if not higher that know this practice is going on. I promise you if Trump (And other business owners cus he's not the only one) were loosing hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions if you count business delays eventually people would start to care all the way to the top. Trump, Hilton, the guys who run UPS and FedEx and trust me I did their livescanning a few years back. If you aren't basically public face you aren't legal. They like money.

If Trump had to personally stomp on your balls if you cost him a billion bucks.

So riddle me this, how does ICE NEVER find the guys who write the payroll? They are rich. They are white. We do not inconvience those people.

But while we both know that minimizing the number of illegals (and legal) migrants in the country would in naturally increase wages for Americans and while Americans are not picking strawberries for minimum wage plenty of them wouldn't do janitorial work and even a lot of landscaping.

We could solve this problem VERY easily but since it would inconvience rich white people and we literally spent six years looking for a birth certificate that didn't matter and trying to build a wall we KNOW what this is about.

You are just in so much denial. Having it both ways means having different opinions on the same situation. These are two separate situations and I'm willing to ignore my normal anger towards one group so start actively improving the situation for the other. Which would continue helping the group I don't like.

It would also make it easier to watch for drug traffikers, human traffickers and those legendary terrorists who are flooding in. Easier to process the refugees many of which are in those situations directly or indirectly because of actioins we took and take.

We won't, because fuck the brown people. That is official US policy. You know it, I know it.

They stop being illegal if we do this, we can have better control over the numbers if we do this, they will go home and we can even issue them Tax IDs so they pay income (sure some of them are gonna bother to file for returns but that just increases demand for H&R block via increased demand and people tend to blow right through that money pretty quick. They don't throw it in a savings account they buy something expensive that they probably don't really need but when a few hundred bucks appears in my wallet there can easily be a VERY happy bar for women or a new Playstation. We can argue if that's responsible or not, but not that most people do exactly that.

So why don't YOU want to do the way that turns the 60% coming in legally to pretty close to 100% and they can get tested for diseases. Get background checks?

MAybe if we made it EASIER to do so more or most of them would do so.

That would be a good thing for congress to do.

Certainly a better idea than the (D)'s efforts to just undermine it because they can't get behind an open borders policy publicly..... too fucking chicken shit and dishonest.

What's that got to with supporting the rule of law?

It's the reason you gave for seemingly not supporting rule of law, your political affiliation also re-enforces your pro-undermine immigration/the border lefty position.

Am I wrong??

I mean if you support border control and enforcing immigration policy but just want the law reform I'm fine being wrong, but you're going to have to come out at a fascist Nazi Trumplican who hates brown people and say it's ok to have borders and laws that enforce them.

It would help.

But only to the extent they comply.

That doesn't work for or address the issue of the tens of thousands who choose not to and make forced/illegal entry across the border anyhow.

I support having a border because I believe in having a nation state and rule of law.

That means at some level we have to put enforcement in place to stop violators .

So why don't YOU want to do the way that turns the 60% coming in legally to pretty close to 100% and they can get tested for diseases. Get background checks?

I'm all for reform.

But that's not even possible until (D)'s agree that borders and laws are things and stop doing everything they can to undermine them.

I think we need to decide how we can all live and let live as a country before we do anything else really. I think we need a sort of decentralization/restructuring if we are to continue as a union long term.

Everyone needs a place to live and 1 rule for all 50 states and 330mil people is NOT going to work. When we sort that out, we can move forward on a lot of other things, but that issue is coming to a head.
