As an independent leftist, I expect the answers here to be somewhat amusing, of course.

Likely to be a lot of naive optimists. People who think that Biden is anything but a Blue Dog, conservative Southern Democrat, a Dixiecrat at heart. And Harris is hardly a progressive, either. The left will find that getting anything past his desk will take serious watering down of any useful legislation to the point of uselessness.

1. Repeal the Hyde Amendment
2. Improve Obamacare (single payer probably isn't going to happen just yet, but maybe we can push things in the right direction)
3. Sen. Warren's ultra-wealth tax, and undo Trump's giveaways to the uber-rich.
4. Raise the minimum wage
5. Stop throwing people in jail for nonviolent drug offences.
6. Push a serious national discussion about police brutality against people of color (not directly in the president's purview, but he can use the bully pulpit to encourage reforms at the state and local level).
7. Reinstate the assault weapons ban, preferably with more teeth this time.

That'd be a good start. I hope Biden will keep in mind that the Dems are likely to lose ground in the 2022 elections no matter what happens - it's just political reality - and that he'd best make the most of the first two years.

Do you know for certain that the children that are with illegal border crossers are indeed their children or even connected to them in any way at all?? ...no you don't do you?! stop being so naive and realise that there is a lot of child trafficking going on, and also people kidnapping children and pretending they are their children to gain an advantage if caught.

Credit where it is due, the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION were wise to install these facilities, or "cages" if you like, to establish what's what. If there is an increased use of these facilities of late that will be because there is an increase in attempted border crossings.

Instead of criticising Trump for keep his countries border secure, start asking question of the Mexican leadership and why its citizens want to escape?!
