I found out Cher is Armenian. I also found out that Armenians are mostly Democrats today (though they have always has a significant percentage of Republicans). That blew me away. I always grew up thinking that Armenian Americans were one of the few "diverse" groups that were solid Republicans. Apparently that's not true after all, although there have been many prominent Republicans who were Armenian, the most famour being governor Dukmejian. I used to really respect that community, I guess I was wrong, and not just because they gave us the Kardashians.
