This President is no improvement; and I'm glad to say that civil rights organizations are taking his administration to task just like they did with Bush's. Funny how we don't hear of them being criticized for it this go around though.

What can I say, he's a product of Berkeley. Having said all of that however, how does what he said in the past have anything to to do with the overt action of the Obama administration in the matter being discussed. How does that rise to the level of this assault into the private lives of the civil society? How does his stated views support turning over all financial records of all Americans to the CIA?
It means that it's stupid to suggest that Bush did not aggressively assert executive powers at the cost of individual liberties. Just like it's stupid to suggest that Obama has rebuked Bush's lead.
