I'm not sure I heard a promise by AG Letitia James to actually prosecute Cuomo. Has anyone else?

A flood of politicians from the left, right and center – including every member of the U.S. Senate and House representing New York – has now called on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign after a report by the New York attorney general on Tuesday concluded Cuomo broke the law with his repeated sexual harassment.

"As we have said before, the reported actions of the Governor were profoundly disturbing, inappropriate and completely unacceptable," Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., said in a statement. "Today’s report from the New York State Attorney General substantiated and corroborated the allegations of the brave women who came forward to share their stories -- and we commend the women for doing so."

New York's two U.S. senators continued to say that the investigation led by New York Attorney General Letitia James was "thorough and professional" and found "a pattern of sexually harassing current and former employees."

As the New York Attorney General’s office accuses Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexually harassing 11 women, CNN finds itself mired in an ethical quagmire, as the report states the network’s most popular host enabled the governor’s behavior and did not “believe all women.”

CNN’s Chris Cuomo received “confidential and often privileged information” about some of the women charging his brother with sexual harassment, “looked to protect” the governor, and “found ways not to believe” his accusers, according to a report from Attorney General Letitia James.

The AG’s report also reproduces a text message from one of the governor’s alleged victims complaining about CNN’s pro-Cuomo coverage.

In May, The Washington Post broke the news that the host of “Cuomo Prime Time” advised his older brother how to handle the burgeoning cases of sexual impropriety. At the time, the network said his behavior was inappropriate but would not happen again.

Chris Cuomo and many others who devised the governor’s crisis response strategy “were not State employees at all,” the AG report states. “None of them was officially retained in any capacity by the Executive Chamber or any of the individuals involved.

It’s a sad spectacle.

It’s sad that Andrew Cuomo engaged in what New York state investigators describe as a pattern of sexual harassment, unwanted touching and inappropriate comments involving 11 women, including one instance of retaliation.

It’s sad that he responded to the attorney general’s blistering report with denials and deflections — embedded with apologies to two of the women — and a couple of swipes at the press.

You know, if his skin color was lighter, or he had just stuck to assaulting his daughter, I'm sure the D-bags would have given him the Biden Pass.

The left of center posters on this board are expressing their collective moral outrage over the Cuomo charges making it difficult for the right to enjoy his downfall.

Further evidence of a propagandist desperate to trigger libtards. I never said anything about prosecution or impeachment. It matters but not that much in regard to politics. He's road kill.
 
I'm guessing both Cuomos will be taken out by this investigation.

The Governor's bullshit response was pathetic. He should resign.

His brother should be taken off the air.

An aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo admitted to fabricating the governor’s signature on a document attesting that he had completed a mandatory sexual harassment training in 2019, according to an investigation released by the state’s attorney general.

Stephanie Benton, Cuomo’s office director, told investigators that she was the one who produced the governor’s signature on a 2019 document attesting that he had completed the “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace” training course, according to report from Attorney General Letitia James’s office released Tuesday that said the governor unlawfully sexually harassed multiple women.

Cuomo denied that he ever inappropriately touched any female subordinates in a statement Tuesday. He acknowledged that he does publicly kiss and embrace both men and women, behavior he attributed to “generational or cultural perspectives.”

The signed attestation form states: “I hereby attest that I have completed the following mandatory training courses,” and contains Cuomo’s printed name and signature. The document, which was first reported by WTEN, contains no indication that Cuomo’s aide had signed the document on Cuomo’s behalf.

“A review of the signature on the attestation form shows that the signature looks different from the Governor’s signature on official documents,” a footnote in James’s report stated.
