She is dead, next insult.
Wait.

Being democratic is an insult to your deceased mother? Wowzers, she's opinionated for a deceased person.

1. Find a poor white boy from the south to appeal to the African-American voters. oh... they already did that.

2. Nominate a pompous airbag and a hollowed cheek intellectual for pres. candidate, one who can talk down to the masses that reside in the south and convince them they are wrong and he is cool. tried that. Ha!

3. Attack anyone who has any remote connection to Bush. Oh, and everything about Bush. Doing....

4. Don't come up with any new ideas - then you have to defend them - just attack the other guy's. 30 years!

Uhmmm. ... uh.....
I'm trying to think like a dem here....It's hard. LOL. :)

All in good fun - don't anyone get snarky with me, I'm not in the mood. :rose:

Yo nappy niece/nephew.

And don't say ya don't have any brothers or sisters either.
I got tons of nieces and nephews. Christmas is a killer.

Unfortunately, you are right about the current state of the Democratic Party.

However, I have yet to be conviced that the GOP is worthy of my vote. Please explain to me why I should vote Republican instead.

I'm not sure you should vote Republican either.

Our problem.

We need the rise of a centrist party that incorporates the moderates being pushed out of the GOP and the blue dogs being pushed out by the liberals. I might vote for that ticket.

1) oh and it worked out well
2)Nominate a fucking dumbass who can read and gives speeches like he has been hit in the head one to many times.
3) deflect and bring everything back to clinton. NSA wiretaps? CLINTON. Border partol? CLINTON, rise , lather, repeat
4) when dems come up with new idea Reps deflect and insult.

You see Republicans have one thing going for them. ( these are the ones in office) National security. They blanket everything they can in it. Which allows them to pass anything they want. Which means they can make dems look weak. There is not much you go against "we must protect the homeland".
Yeah most people are going to be for that.

But to say or even try to make one party better than the other is stupid. BOth suck( minus a few people) and both are hurting this country.

So please stop with "its hard to think like a dem. shit" Its not hard at all. A 6 year old can do it. Just like anyone can think like a repubican.

Beware, intellectual honesty like this will kill the thread in a hurry. It's hard to spout off counter-talking points in the face of common sense LOL

Both parties have their strengths and weaknesses, hell, even Jimmy Carter managed to broker the peace deal between Egypt and Israel that was a necessary first step to increase middle east stability. It may have been his only worthwhile contribution, but it was important.

Notice I don't say "peace", because it's going to be many years before that ever comes about.

The Democrats have certainly become a little unhinged and shrill since 2000, but I suppose getting beaten twice by a "Dumb lying cowboy on a holy crusade to steal oil" will do that.

They're too busy screaming "Bush bad! Bush bad!" to present any sort of plan for the future, it's not helping them whatsoever. Individual Democrats are presenting more localized outlines, and thus will likely pick up seats in the House and Senate, but nationally, they're impotent when it comes to ideas. Limp as a wet noodle.

They've got to get their ducks in a row if they want to have any chance of taking back the White House in '08 with whichever Governor wins the nomination.

( Mark my words, it *will* be a governor. Hillary is a diversion, a trojan horse to draw off the talking heads )

I'd still love to see an Independant McCain/Lieberman ticket come out on top by some miracle.

That should make both of the extreme wings hate me ::Laugh::

McCain sold out over the weekend. Sorry no vote there
