Delta Thread

Howdy!

I fell in love with the Delta when I was a little girl and I have been infatuated with it ever since! Everything about it...the sound of the River, the barges that never stop, the sultry heat, the old gravel roads and cotton fields that stretch as far as you can see...I'm in love with it all!

Not too long ago, a wonderful man took me home to his Delta...and it is safe to say that he changed my life for the better. Now, looking back, I realize he really helped to feed the flame of my love for the place.

So...anybody from the Delta? Tell us about yourself and about that place you are SO proud to be a part of!

It is a wonderful place to visit. I will never forget the smells, the sounds, the colors and the people. In the Delta I met so many incredibly friendly people!

But of course, you can't forget what might be one of the most important things...those men with those deep, sweet southern drawls.
