I regret getting sucked in to the politics board of this site, and so I'd like all the threads I started on their deleted, but no one appears to actively moderate that section so there isn't anyone to directly ask.

I think that provided your thread has fewer than, say, 40 replies, and within a certain timeframe, you should have the ability to delete your own threads yourself.

Good luck with that. At best, you might get your own comments deleted, but even then, I've only seen that happen in pretty extenuating circumstances. (And of course, you can do that yourself.)

I can't even edit the spelling mistake in my op of this thread.

Chuckles.

You have to manually delete each post.

no one to help you cover up your fuck ups....sorry

Huh - weird. You're right though, but it's specific to this board, I think. Everywhere else, you'll have an 'edit' button on your own posts.

That's unique to this Tech Support forum.

On other forums you can edit your own posts - deleted - (or at least five characters). Your deletion won't change any other poster's re-post of your content, though. You might be able to close a thread you started, but I'm not sure about that.
