I am not sure this is the rght place to ask.but i will anyway?

My first story is pending and i would like it not to be posted...not because i feel it is terrible or not that i think it is any good either!

Because when i went to check on its status, to my horror, i found that the title had a typo...and it now makes no sense. Not a auspicious debut i grant you..so i would just like it to go away so i could resubmit after a bit more polishing.....any idea how i go about that?

:( Ms M...

I don't think an email to Laurel is very effective.

I'm not sure about this but I think you can do it by clicking on pending and erasing the text part of your story and writing a message in its place that you'll submit later or whatever you want to write. Try it.

If the post has not been approved, you could edit it and delete the body of the story and add a note for Laurel to delete it, resubmitting it since you can't delete it yourselfl. That way she can delete it when she reviews it.

Damppanties ..

We must be on the same wavelength today! :D

Ditto!! You sure you don't have a long lost twin sis somewhere? :p ;)

My mom would have heart failure if she even thought I had a twin sister.

But you would make a great sister. :rose: ;)

I think that is quite possibly the most useful bit of info I've seen yet on revisions... To be able to fix a pending submission does save time, clear up confusion, and avoid some embarrassment.

Thanks to both Pookie_grrl and DP

I think that needs to be mentioned in the submission FAQ ;)

[certainly would've been helpful to me a few days ago if I knew that as I have a duplicate poem where I screwed up and the word revsion is left on the resubmitted poem... Aye, truly embarrassing.]

Thanks everybody

I will try all your suggestions and see which one works
