Deleted/Editing stories

Hello everyone! I have published a couple of stories on here recently and I'm very happy with the response. However, I submitted an EDIT of a story, and requested that 2 stories be deleted, and have received no response. Is there a reason why new stories seem to get accepted within a few days but edits/deletions are ignored? I want to get this sorted out so I can continue on. Thanks for any help!

You don't reach the site administrators by posting to this discussion board. To get through to the site editor, you'll have to send her (Laurel) a Private Message (PM). Nobody else can give you anything but general speculation on this question.

1) Edits: Common knowledge is that edits are a lower priority and are resolved as time allows. You won't receive any direct response, just watch your Control Panel for activity. (Assuming that you followed the correct steps in the edit.) New stories take priority.

2) Remove a Story: To take a story you wrote off the site, post it again with the same title but add [REMOVE] to the end of the title, or at the beginning if it doesn't fit at the end. (You don't have to repost the text of the story.) It won't come down immediately.
