Deleted Comments? How can you know?

Has anyone discovered a way to determine if a comment that you haven't viewed yet was deleted by the system (or admins)?

My control panel shows a comment was posted 19 hours ago, but it isn't showing up so I am curious if it said something that got it deleted after a successful submission.

I understand that comments can take a while to appear after an author being notified of their submission, but 19 hours?

I'm sure you know this, but a glitch in the system sometimes prevents you from seeing comments if you try to access them from "My Home," sometimes for quite awhile. Usually, checking the comments icon from your Works List will reveal it sooner; that seems to update first.

Yes, I did know that and tried it. Thanks.

It turns out that the comment was from another author who has explained that he deleted the comment himself after submitting it.
