Do you want to delete it completely or just edit it? I don't think you can just delete it. But you could go Here and edit it. AFter you Log in, the next page has a menu on the left side. Click on Profile under main and you can blank out just about everything.

you could always click on their username, click on public profile and look to see when their last activity was.

99 percent sure you can't delete your profile, just edit it down to almost blank.
you can only tell when someone logged in last if it shows in their profile. As fasr as I know anyway.

The mods don't have the power to delete users, unless they also have admin power.

The admins won't delete accounts unless there are very serious extenuating circumstances because it can cause problems with the site. See Harold's explanation in the thread about not getting a response from emailing admins on the first page for details.

They will sometimes change all of the member's posts to a symbol if there's a good enough reason, but they're too busy to bother doing that for people who have few enough posts to edit the posts themselves and just weren't smart enough to think twice before they signed up or simply want to create a new account. This change doesn't alter quotes and info from the person's posts can still usually be found via search engines.

Sweet_bitch, why do you want to delete your account? Do you not want to participate here anymore, or are you being harrassed by someone, or is it for another reason? If you give us the reason, we can better tell you what you should do.

It was probably answered, but... Question number two: If the person logs on as 'online' then click on the profile and it should be there. If, however, the person logs on as 'offline' (invisible) then there isn't any last activity.

I've admin-modded VB forums for almost 10 years and as long as the database is backed up correctly and often, there should be no problem with deleting an account. But, I do not see much activity from the admin's or mods on this site anyway.

Also, this is a fairly older version of VB and I'm sure to back this site up with all the attachments and links would take quite a while.

But I agree, just delete/edit the threads yourselves
