It makes you last longer because it decreases friction and sensation. Some lube can increase sensation, but too much puts a big damper on pleasure.

I often start with a bit of artificial lube but by the time my natural lube kicks in, I find myself with an excessive amount overall, which makes me feel nearly numb. At that point, I have to wipe some away, or I'll be doomed to no chance at having any orgasms.

While my husband may feel like more of a stud because the excessive wetness can make him last longer, he'd rather I get pleasure out of it and have a chance to orgasm than last longer.

Now I clearly don't know if your wife produces so much lube that it dampens her pleasure, but I hope this illustrates that a woman CAN be too wet and what's good for you isn't necessarily good for your partner.

While I realize this is a grave dug post, I wanna say I read it and am now quite relieved to know I'm not the only one with this issue!!! Although it isnt as bad, but I still get the wetness all day and it really increases around that time of the month (before and after) and that is the WORST! But for some sad unknown reason, when it comes to sex, i tend to dry up pretty fast. I keep telling SO that foreplay would probably help extend the use but he always replies with something about me being so damn wet already.....Not sure why but its pretty annoying to be lovin it one minute adn then things just start drying up.
