How does Literotica define what is Hot, Wild or Erotic in the stories? I have read quite a few Hot stories, but have seen only a few Wild or Erotis stories. Just curious.

H is for hot. It means with more than ten votes you have a 4.5 or greater average.

The W is for a winner of one of the monthly or year end contests.

The E is an editors choice. It means the editors at lit reccomend it.

Hiya PDumbledore,

You are right in assuming the "H" stands for hot, but the "W" stands for "Winner", ie. it won a contest here at Lit at some point. The "E" stands for "Editor's Choice" ie. Laurel *really* liked the story.

I love your definitions, though!

EDIT! Balls, I'm never quick enough. :D Yeah, what Colly said. ;)

Thanks for the info.

I've just discovered I've got an 'H' on one of my stories. Trouble is it's one I didn't think too highly of at all...

Congratulations on the H. Not your best work, eh?

That seems to be going on alot. A reader of one of my stories wrote me a feedback mail once complimenting me on "my best story so far".

When I replied "Come on! It's a cheap, stupid, smutty piece of totally unlikely porn cliché fiction with no literary value whatsoever." the answer was "Yeah! Isn't that great?"
