Define for me.....

Relationships are a funny thing. I mean you can send a few hundred bytes through a modem that can make you feel so incredibly close to a person, and you can also make RL, sweaty, juicy love to someone, and find yourself incredibly alone afterwards. I was thinking this afternoon, as I washed her loveliness from my face, LOL..."Making love in the afternoon with Cecilia up in my bedroom, I got up to wash my face, and when I came back to bed someone's taking my place, O, Cecilia, you're breaking my heart, you're shaking my confidence baby." LOL.

So what I am saying...hmmmmm. Whether in RL or online, you can't make another person be honest, romantic, happy, fun...or anything. All you have control over is yourself and what you choose to generate. The only part of a relationship that is truly affected by you, is your half. You can cyber while watching television, you can fuck while replaying the phone conversation you had with your child's teacher. You can also work at being in the moment whether fucking or talking or composing posts at Lit. It really is up to you.

I am so tired of hearing about how "online" or "LDR" relationships are not real, they are.

Relationships start off on the net. Its cheaper to type in an im than it is to call on the phone.

But for the relationship to go beyond im's, you need to hear from them and you have to meet. Especially if you have kids.

Intimacy came into the relationship when he called me,the knowledge that it was love that I felt for him came when his arms wrapped around me.

Yes,lots of people like to get off online.

Yes,lots of people lie about who, where, and why they are with you.

But not everyone is doing that, and that is what you should remember.
