Does having cyber sex constitute cheating?

Does emailing sexual fantasies constitute cheating?

Is it the thought of having sex with someone else or is it the actual act that defines cheating?

Anything you are aware that your spouse or SO would consider cheating is cheating.

Well if thinking about fucking someone else is the same as actually doing it, then I better get busy.

Why ruin a perfectly good sin?

I have said before that the matter of whether or not cybering is cheating relates to intent. What is the emotional involvement of the parties?
What do they hope for in the outcome? The almight orgasm? A long term relationship?

Does the SO/spouse etc know and approve?

As for me, if my SO were cybering while I was lying in bed, hungry, horny, tingly with anticipation....he would be gone.

If you are neglecting your SO and real life love, it is cheating.

~laughs~ right on! lmao.

as far as what's considered cheating ... my opinion is its the actual act that counts. cyber can be taken so many different ways especially by roleplayers. but not mentioning names ... a friend of mine who has been married a long time, has children, claims she loves her family, yet has an internet b/f who visits her now and then whom she does fuck ... I consider that not only cheating but disloyal, too.

here's a question ... define the outline boundry between cheating and disloyality.
