Deepest thread to longest

Hey all.

Out of interest to all the other writters i was wondering what the distance between your deepest thread and your first dead end is. In my case my longest is 9 and my first dead ends kick in at 4. So that gives me a five. Lets hear what everone else has to say.

Well, my deepest was four and I didn't have any dead until page four either. So a rating of zero. Is that good or bad?

But then I added a page 5 from lilguy and a page 3 from me. So now my rating is 2. Have I made my story worse by adding two threads, or better?

I dont think it really means a hell of a lot, i was just interested in what other people had. High or low doesn't mean anything as long as the writtings good

The higher the distance, the better the read. Because you're guaranteed that many choices in between before the deepest thread.

Besides, there's always the Prev button if you don't like where the story is going

Will someone define chyoo for me and what do yo mean by deepest and longest thread and wht is the significance of the rating system?

Longest thread: 10 - but I think long threads attract reads so I might write especially for that.

Shortest thread: 2 (front page +1) - I approved a gay themed thread just to be open minded and it seems to have died. I was hoping the author would return but no luck. If people would like to help out there then that would be cool.

Chyoo doesn't stand for anything. As the webpage says, it's just a name they liked.

I kind of like short stories/pages, but find myself writing ones that are fairly long. Threads that end seem to be pretty rare from what I've seen.
