Decadents & Dropouts OOC

I didn't want to cramp your style. But it makes me feel exclusive to be the only one.

We might end up having Stalker fights.

I have only read the OOC for this, and I love the idea of it. I went to go see what the IC is like and it's nearly 1000 posts. I'm a little daunted by this, but assuming I read it all, I might be very interested in doing something here.

We can always give you a brief update on what's happened if you want.

That way you won't have to read it all. Occasionally through the OOC there are updates. It helps.

Perhaps.
Seems most of the characters are posted in the IC though.
DAMN! Someone is already a kobald.
*Watches his hopes and dreams shatter like so much poorly refined kobald glass.*

I doubt that our Khobald friend would return any time soon. He's been gone for a VERY long time

Hmm... I'd probably be more partial to some sort of goblinoid anyways, Kobalds are basically the same thing though. In DnD terms anyways.

The posts have been fairly short so far, I'm going to keep reading a few pages, and who knows, maybe I'll actually have read this crazy adventure.

There is a perfect entry point if you need one. Especially if your creature either enjoys the forests or would enjoy a Forge Town.

Yeah it's kind of hard to write up a long post if you are scared of god modding a character

Well, I wouldn't be too worried about god modding. At least in a bad way. I find overpowered characters boring.

Haha, I didn't mean to offend or anything, let me re-phrase.

I find characters without weaknesses boring. Powerful is fine, but little gods walking on the earth untouchable by everyone else, I donno, If there's no jeopardy or no risk in anything you might do, then I think it's less enjoyable.

Yeah I get that idea. Everybody must have a weakness. Gryph's will be revealed in due time...OK OK he can't swim even if he can cast water based magic. He sinks like a rock

Oh the Irony!

Hmmm, I think Relics would simply be her size and the fact that someone of Gryphs size would simply need only one contact hit to pulverize her. Her strength is not letting it get to that point though, so hopefully her skills are sharp.

And just because I want Alex to be the dark yet comical character if he's used more, his main weakness is that he hates fluffy animals and is allergic to roses.

Muahaha.

I will be away a few days, but I will come back as usual.

1. Leading a group of Bandits and thugs by Dormant Evil is a fine idea. The mob should include the two barbarians from former encounters, Haerdon and Ulfgard, and a rather mighty sorcerer (Mad Dog). We need the latter because otherwise Gryph might just finish the intruders off to easily. Verialyn should escape as well, but is somehow separated, to explain her vanishing and giving her a chance to return.

2. I guess our kobald is gone. Nevertheless, two kobalds would be no problem. Anything goes.

3. It is not necessary to read all posts to join. A new character would not know what happened before anyways.

4. We should go on describing the events in this thread, to give a rough sketch what has happened before.

I shall begin to write for the thugs then. Including those already mentioned by you.

Thanks!

Fine.

Her once more the events since last time:

1. Gryph and Aaron seduce Phyliss for a threesome in the garden.
2. Meanwhile: Alex and Relic have reached the city of Forges (What was ist's name, anyway?), after they have finished their "job". (Getting rid of a bunch of robbers.)
3. Alex and Relic are strolling through town, each of them for their own. Relic sees the rich mayor in a whorehouse, and has some evil thoughts about his future.
4. Phyliss retires and prepares for dinner. Gryph and Verialyn are somewhere on the estate.
5. Haerdon prepares to lead a group of bandits towards the estate.

Posted. Sorry about the length.

It's just fluff really. I figure anybody who was inside or in the back gardens are unaffected by the spell.

And I'm cool with making this a longer RP point, or just letting you all escape. Up to you.

Looks like we need some fresh blood? Players there?

what happened so far:
1. Haerdon takes the mansion.
2. Gryph knocks out Ulfgard and warns Verialyn of the attack. They lose each other out of sight.
3. Marcus is encountered by Mad Dog and his drow bodyguard. He tells of Gryph and Phyliss to save his own life.
4. Phyliss and Gryph have made it safe into the garden and get over the wall, trying to get away as far as possible, in direction to the city of forges.
5. Everything is still open, will they be tracked? Will they be captured, or do they get away? No idea yet...

Sorry for my absence.

Have been working full time, and moving house. Moving house caused lack of internet, and time. Lack of internet and time means I was forced to leave without saying I would be gone for a few weeks.

But for the most part I am back.

Post coming up.
