Decadents and Dropouts IC

Gryph

The half-dragon listened to the conversations and movements around him, still his mind slumbered, his body resting and finishing it's healing process. The hal-dragon's sub concious started to mule over the magic it had seen, felt and experienced. Without really realizing it, Gryph's mind was learning new spells. In time it would come tot the fore, but for now he rested, keeping a vigil on his precious backpack.

Phyliss Ovida

The gorgon benddown over the halfdragon and looked closeley up him, then she decided to give him some rest. There was time enough. She sat down on the reeling, crossing her legs so that it would cover her intimate regions that might show under the large belt, and started to drink wine. She watched how the other ships were managing to prepare for mooring overnight.

Gryph

After a while Gryph roused himself and sat up, stretching out his back and joints creaked and popped. He got to his feet, lifting his backpack and turning away from the others he jawned, then he walked over to the side, spoke the command as he held his hands cupped and as water flowed from the river up into his hands he washed his face and drank deeply. After finishing he felt refreshed, turning he noticed Phyliss seated on the railing and cocked his head to one side.

"So what are you celebrating captain?"

Phyliss Ovida

Phyliss tipped the ancient, large captains head. "Um, let us say, the first landing of our fleet, a new, larger ship, new friends... seems good enough I think."

Gryph

He grinned at her

"Dressed like that I can only guess that it will be one hell of a celebration."

Phyliss Ovida

The gorgon grinned back and took another drink. "I hope it will be. Sometimes we have to reveal our inner demons."

Gryph

He ran his eyes over the gorgon's basically naked body and chuckled softly, lowering his voice the pitch changed from it's usual gravel sliding over each other to a more coarse sand rubbing over stone.

"Captain dressed like that you might more like find a demon inside of you than one bared and revealed."

He then continued in his usual tone of voice,

"Ah yes indeed, at times it is a good thing, cleans the soul to let the inner demons out"

Phyliss Ovida

Phyliss finished her glass, and called Colin to set up some food and more wine on the open deck.
She glided down the reling, to fill her goblet again.
"I wonder about your inner demons."

Gryph

He gave her a grin,

"And what about my inner demons is it that you wish to find out about captain?"

He had to admit that after the events of the past few hours the gorgon's display of her body was having an effect on him. He started to wonder if the little half-fiend would mind, since his smell had been on the gorgon before the attack.

Phyliss Ovida

Phyliss looked over, where Colin was taking some food to the table.
"I wonder, if you have developed some appetite after a hard day."

Gryph

He smiled slightly and turned his attention to the food,

"As a matter of fact I am starving. Had a lot of energy to burn and I didn't really take time to replenish that energy."

Phyliss Ovida

"Good, let us eat then. If the others want to join us, they can do anytime." She sat down on a barrel, trying to conceal the more intime regions of her body, as she filled her goblet again and choose some of the food.

Gryph

He sat down cross-legged with Phyllis and picked up an unoppened bottle, casually he used his fingers to pinch open the bottle and took a sip. It was warm, but would do to quench his thirst. He picked up a round bread and started to eat.

Phyliss Ovida

"I am lucky you found your appetite again. I wonder if we have to dine alone? I think our crew has taken their share already; let us see if the other manage to bring their ship in."

Gryph

He grunted and picked up some of the meats, eating that along with the bread and wine,

"I believe they will be capable, they did get this far."

He chuckled,

"No I am sure they will be able to land their ship captain."

The gorgon managed to lay bellydown on the small reling, taking care that the belt was still covering her butt, or atleast the most important part of it. She tipped her tongue inside the wine.
"I wonder how long this bonds will hold together. We are a really mixed crew, also in temperament."

Gryph

"Hmm there is little trust, most of the ones here are kept here by common intrests and loyalty."

He took a swig of the wine,

"I think gold will buy higher loyalties than those here, but let me not by a doom bringer, I am just half a dragon with a mind for violence.""

Phyliss Ovida

Phyliss grinned as she took another sip. "You haven't been violent to me yet."
She had to take care, that she did not get drunk to fast.

"That may be so cap'n, but you have done nothing to warrant said violence,"

He finished his meal, fed a few more pieces of meat into his mouth and finished the wine,

"Ah now that is much better."

He leaned back, resting on the backpack and studied the Gorgon as she balanced on the railing

Phylis Ovida

Phyliss had taken some of the food, until she had enough of it. She could not fit that easily on the wine after she had started after the turbulent days. Somehow she managed to keep both knees on the reiling, and rested her head on her left arm she put on the reiling as well, while she used the othe rto hold the goblet. Her right breast was pressed on the wood, hile her left was hanging over the reiling, and she could not cover it quiet with her swirling snakes
"I wonder if nobody else is hungry or thirsty?"

Gryph

"They are bound to be, it has been a long day and I am sure that food and drink would come in handy before a bed."

He sniffed the air and placed his hands behind his head as he rested on the backpack.

"It should not take long for one of them to come around I think."

Phyliss Ovida
The gorgons snaked curled over her back and shoulders playfully, as the wine had it effects on her. But still that was not reason to quit drinking yet.
"That scratch you got duing fight- does it stop hurting?"

Gryph

"The fight with Haerdon? Yes it is completely healed by now."

He watched her snakes wriggle around and smiled

"You seem quite deadly with the crossbow, lot of practise?"

Phyliss Ovida

"Uh- yeah. A rather tragic story." she made a 90 degree-turn on the reiling, balancing on her belly while she kept her arms and legs stretched out, refilled her galls at the table and swung back into her former position, taking a drink.
"I used to stay in the house of a young baron that was crazy about crossbow-shooting. There was no day without a tournament or hunting trip, and everybody in the house had to take part and practise, and as his ...uhhhh... favourite lady spent the most time with the crossbow. Just not to get bored, I started to shoot blindfolded, balancing on a rope, standing on seesaw or dangling headdown from the ceiling. I had to miss on purpose, just not to win all the time."

Gryph

He grinned,

"At least this equiped you with an ability that can keep you alive in the wild and in a battle as well."
