Aaron started slowly. He kept his distance as he glided together with Phyliss over the dance floor. From the signals she sent he thought she had already accepted what he would suggest in the night to come, so keeping things going slow might arouse her even more.
Ever so slowly he kept pulling her a little closer, intensifying his grip just a little. Finally they were touching each other, and he even thought he could feel her nipples through the layers of both of their clothing. He was getting aroused now himself. Soon he would suggest to retreat somewhere. maybe the garden, it was not cold tonight. But for now he would prolong the suspense just a few more minutes.
---
Verialyn had to smile inwardly at the merchants compliments. He was doing a decent job of appearing calm, but the slight bulge in his pants betrayed him. Then the box with the locket was brought.
Once the box was opened, she had a closer look at the locket it contained. That was definitely a precious piece of jewelry. She looked up at Marcus again. "Thank you good sir, this is indeed a wonderful gift. I will gladly accept your present, although I do not think I deserve something as expensive."
Then the servant approached, mentioning Canut and their real names. Wonderful. Why wasn't he enjoying the free time he got together with Koetia. But no point in revealing her fake now, if Marcus had not lost the last of his brain cells in her cleavage he would direct the servant to Phyliss. Verialyn checked. Yes, Phyliss was still in the room, but probably not much longer.
