So one idea of immortality or very long lived persons I like in fiction is how it can drive people mad as they are either forced to forget large chunks of their life or their moral fiber begins to decay.
So I thought it would be fun to think up ideas about immortal or extremely long lived people/races and how their life spans alter their views on sex.
For example, I think years ago I threw out the idea of an immortal who is so enamored with a family that they wait multiple generations before seducing members of it, to the point they’ve become a legend among the family. Potentially they are even the patriarch or matriarch of the family who could’nt pass on their immortality and over the years their familial love has been twisted into erotic desire
Though I’ve also always liked Elves and I thought it would be fun to play with the dynamic: instead of stoic forest folk, what if they were perverts who had a view of sex colored by their long lives:
For example:
Goblins are not hated by elves, in fact, elves are encouraged to make their first lovers be goblins since when they are separated from their horde their eager to please their elf lovers, in the event an elf gets pregnant there’s rarely complications, and they die after only a few decades so elves can learn about mortality while having fun at the same time.
Or: what if elves actually took members of shorter lived races and made them part of their homes so they could play out decades long roleplays?
For example: orc was adopted by an elf home as a child and loves his family but as he enters adulthood he still finds himself attracted to his elf sisters or even other family members. After a dramatic event he boldly declares his love and spends a night with the source of his taboo affection.
However, the next morning while the rest of the family is out, he finds a book that was recently opened and has multiple bookmarks in it. While his family tried to not encourage it, he did learn to read Elvish and to his shock, it’s a book on sexual fantasies to play out with younger races. Every moment he thought his adopted sister was unintentionally bumping into him while she was underdressed or being accidentally seductive? All in the book. Even the dramatic moment which made him confess his love? All planned with contingencies or alternate routes.
…more concerning however is the fact there’s an end game which involves him dying years later in a dramatic fashion. He puts the book away and pretends to not know but to his horror, his sister begins the next scenario, even quoting some parts directly from the book.
