I'm hoping it will something along a TMZ production. I have begun gathering my natcho ingredients in anticipation of Monday nights meltdown fest. However I am worried my expectations are too high.

If Hillary doesn't do any of the following...

short circuit
Throw an ashtray
Pass out
Her eyes don't do a Marty Feldman impersonation
Make Trump lose his cool
I will be very disappointed.

My expectations of Trump?

Act presidential while being in good humor
Don't put your foot in your mouth.
If Hillary tries to play your game stick it to her (You enabled your rapist husband!)

My expectation is that Hillary will be far better prepared simply because Trump has done very little so far to indicate that he believes much in the way of preparation of any sort. Most of what he has done (a la Mexican trip) seems to have been done begrudgingly.

If he would do more of it, including finding the discipline to actually BE presidential, I think he could actually win this thing. It is really the only "competence" metric most voters ask. Up against an opponent who is so universally mistrusted, it seems like a comparatively small level to rise to.

But he had better get there fast. The debates will tell the tale.

You make a good point. In fact, Ailes would likely be one of the few people Trump would listen to based on the mere fact that their egos and arrogance basically match up and cancel out.

I met Ailes many years ago on another campaign. I don't think he would have been intimidated by a Donald Trump then, much less now.

When they are not slinging insults or poo ateachother, I expect Trump top shred that image with simple retorts like "but for all your experience you skull fucked Lybia & Syria by arming ISIS". Followed by a non specific generalization of what he will do. Something like bomb the fuck out of ISIS and establish safe zones in the ME.


I would actually prefer much poo flinging because laughter. I can't remember the last electoral debate of any substance.

IMO, If it's a serious debate (no poo flinging ) , whoever wins Monday night will be the elected. Trump will be under pressure to act presidential, look like he belongs there.
