If it makes you feel any better, there was an infamous study conducted in the Czech Republic (I believe) whose parliament was debating smoking and it's cost to the health system... The study had been funded by an add agency working for Phillip-Morris and concluded that because smokers live significantly shorter lives than non-smokers, they actually SAVE the government money! Non-smokers use the health services for longer period of time (everybody dies of something) but also draw pensions, etc... which more than the exceeds the added cost of smokers!!!

Cool, huh? Needless to say P-M did not favor this kind of publicity and fired the add agency...

I would wish you luck and as an ex-smoker sympathize with you... but I do like living in a smoke free environment.... Sorry.

Why? Why do you criticize me? What did I do to you? I worked really hard to get where I am. Is it really so important that I get married, get pregnant, and keep house while working full time? It's not my choice. You maybe happy doing those things, but they aren't for me. I'm making something of myself and I'm going to get a job that I truly love. Can't you just accept me for who I am? Isn't that what family is suppose to do?

I got in. Aren't you happy for me? Why were the first words out of your mouth cruel? "I hope that graduate school of yours pays off because you can't write your own phone number correctly." Didn't you realize how much that hurt? Aren't I allowed to make mistakes? :confused:

You've got to explain this to me because I don't understand. I can't deal with this anymore. One more like that and I won't come to anymore family gatherings. I know my grandparents won't be happy about that, but I have to keep my sanity. I'm just done.
