the more i thought about this the more it bothered me. I don't know you, but you don't seem like a bad person, just insecure and childish, so I thought I'd express my opinion here, for what it's worth (and I know that is nothing.)

your BA and Masters have nothing to do with you as a writer. They don't make you better than anyone else, so why bother trying to prove them, or even caring if anyone believes you or not? No one cares, to be honest. Just as no one cares that I'm not Rhys' alt. Those who have read my work know the truth; and you can think what you want. But know this: having a degree or degrees doesn't mean shit. I don't have any; but, as someone whose opinion I respect told me recently, if you write from the heart, a degree is nothing but a piece of paper.

So stop trying to impress people who don't care, or prove a point that means nothing to anyone but you. Speak from the heart because that is the only way to prove yourself as a writer. If you can't do that, no master's degree can help you.
